Banh Mi DC Sandwich: Authentic Vietnamese Delights in Falls Church

Ordered a combo and grilled pork banh mi for takeaway along with some summer rolls. Both sandwiches were delicious but the grilled pork one was a standout. As for the rolls they were below average in my opinion and not something I’d purchase again. I would make a return visit though to see what their other sandwiches are like.

This establishment offers a delicious grilled pork sandwich that keeps us returning for more. During our most recent visit, we also sampled other menu items alongside the Banh Mi and were pleased with them. The Vietnamese coffee was particularly robust, just the way we prefer it.

Best banh mi in the area. I always get their grilled pork and it’s great. Also very cheap (less than $8 for grilled pork sandwich). This is a no frills spot: order your sandwich, receive a piece of paper with your ticket #, wait for it to get called, and leave with your sandwich. Great for a quick lunch and healthier than traditional American fast food spots.

A classic! It's now buy 10 get 1 free, cool if you have a family or group order but doesn't stop me from going and getting 2 or 3 when I wanna. Service is quick and solid, especially on weekdays. Food is good..it's a sandwich, y'all get worked up sometimes over the negativity but I like to find the positivity so where you may complain that its changed or its smaller or it's less of something...I say it's good. Been coming to this place for years. It's always been good. Sure the price is up and the sandwich sort of smaller but it taste great and nobody can match. The bread has just the right amount of crunch and softness. I've tried other places and so far nobody comes close. Everything about the sandwiches are good plus they have all sorts of freshly made stuff on the right side as you stand in line to order too. It is more than banh mi sandwiches that you can get here!

Had the grilled pork bahn mi and a custard bun this time - it was fantastic. The custard bun was massive and wonderfully fluffy. The bahn mi was delicious and packed with pork. Overall, a stellar spot for excellent value, super fast service, and great flavor. Lots to try here, so I'll definitely be back - with cash (preferred) next time!

I had banh mi for lunch at just $7.25. The bread was light and crispy, and the filling had a distinctly local flavor—though the meat did taste a bit like canned meat. That might not be for everyone, but I actually enjoyed the authentic feel of it.
